Joost review

Once again, thanks to InviteShare I was able to get an invite to another private beta. (I'll definitely be putting iTync on when we get out of alpha.) Anyway, I downloaded, installed the app and created a new account. First impression was that I couldn't reduce it to window mode and move the window around easily. If I watch video on my computer, I don't want it on my primary monitor. I don't mind putting using full screen mode... just stay off my workspace. It reminds of Safari in that it doesn't quite handle itself like a true windows app.

Beyond that it seems quite nice. The channel selection isn't extraordinary, but it's decent. Ads are a bit annoying, in that they seem to randomly interrupt the broadcast. After 24 hours, it seems to have promise. I'll definitely continue to use it.
